Leap is a no-code, drag-and-drop app publishing PaaS with built-in API integration.

DRAG & DROP APP EDITOR

Tell people more about the services you offer. Use this repeating layout to display content. It's an easy way to keep your customers up to date with what's happening. Want to make this content your own? Simple drag and drop elements like text, images and links, or connect to data from your collection. Tell people more about the services you offer. Our no-code platform makes building apps quick and easy.

ENCRYPTION & AUTHENTICATION

In Leap, data is encrypted while at rest and in transit, so your data is always safe. When at rest all data sits in an encrypted database. When in transit the data is encrypted with SSL certificates and the latest protocols. Build compliant applications that meet HIPAA, FERPA, and EU GDPR requirements.

Access is not allowed until user credentials are confirmed.  Automatic logoff and screen lockout help keep data safe when a user leaves their desk. Leap also offers single sign-on that can integrate with Active Directory.

Leap adds enterprise-grade security automatically.

DATA SHARING

Data sharing means that different users not only have access but that access is controlled. Leap allows the administrator to limit access based on user needs. For example, some users may only be allowed to enter data. That data may be restricted to a few data elements or open as far as needed. Other users may only be allowed to look at real-time results. The combinations of how these controls can be applied is virtually limitless. Data sharing means being able to work together. Most users have specific jobs requiring specific kinds of data. Those users have ready access to needed data as well as ready access to add new data. There are also cases where data needs to be changed or the user needs greater access.

Does Leap have a centralized database? Indeed it does. All data, spreadsheets and row data, is stored in a shareable central database. When people say “we need a centralized database,” that often means more than just wanting to share data. Leap allows you to securely share data with people in your enterprise who need to know – in real-time. Data becomes safer with protections to reduce error and cleanly add it to a central data store.

Collaborate in real-time with team members.

APIs & INTEGRATIONS

Seamlessly consume, add, or update data from other systems. Connect to databases and RESTful APIs without any programming. With Leap you can integrate spreadsheets, databases, and API data all within the same app.

Leap makes connecting to data easy with a unique drag n' drop way to do it yourself. Integrations can be for simple things, for example, moving billable time to a billing system or involve lots of data where differing subsets or data are moved at different times and shared with different systems, and Leap supports such complex integrations, for example, sharing data from the entire life-cycle of a customer transaction with an SAP system and some independent departmental systems.

Robustly share data with your systems and web-based apps.

AUDITS

Leap stands ready to show how "it" happened. Detailed key-stroke level audits are automatically generated by all of the applications built using Leap. Information describes how the data is being captured and recorded. Audits can be searched or reported. Searching makes it easier to find a known value and then learn how it got that way. For example, someone entered $12,345.00, when it should have been $123.45. Searching the audits for $12,345.00 will quickly show who entered it, when they entered it, where they entered it, and how they entered it.

Learn what's going on and what happened without any extra effort.

TRANSPARENCY

Full transparency is often elusive. Leap makes business and data processes visible from start to end. Business leaders need to know and understand the story of "what was" and "what is".  Leap proves data in real-time. Dashboards graphically show the results as data is captured from anywhere. Data visualizations translate reports into an up-to-the-moment understanding of business health and activity.

Leaders, managers, and contributors alike, want to be able to understand the meaning of specific data. For example, when sales are up, what sectors are changing and which sales people are having more success. Which ones are having less success? Supporting data is always just a mouse click away. Users of all kinds need to police the system to find aberrations, responsible parties, and other things that have gone amuck. Leap always has the record of how data came to be in detailed audits.

Know the quality, source, and completeness

of your data.

ROLE-BASED SECURITY

Groups of users can be granted permission within your Leap app, limiting or expanding data access. Access controls are similar to those found in major systems. Access controls can be strict and limiting but there are cases where security needs to be lax, for example, a data survey form published on a public webpage open to the world. Security is automatically baked-in for all Leap apps. It's up to you to specify if you want a strict mandatory approach or some user discretion.

Assign permissions based on a user's skill

or role.

MOBILE FRIENDLY

Leap apps become available for full-screen computers, tables and smartphones. Leap will adjust to the screen size encountered, but you can define completely different experiences to better support the user's choice of device. For example, full detail may be desirable on a larger screen but only key values should be showing on a small screen.

Leap can run apps engaging processing from the server in the cloud, off-loading some of the heavy lifting in order to improve performance over cell networks and other slower access points.

Access reports, visualizations, and forms from your phone or tablet.

DATA DRILL-DOWN

Leap automatically adds full drill-down to applications. A single mouse click on an element in a report or data visualization graphic produces a report with the supporting detail. Each element in the drill-down report can also be drilled to find more and more granular detail until the initial numbers are found. In other words, it is always possible to find out how any total came to be.

Being able to drill-down on any element of data is part of Leap's commitment to transparency in systems. Transparency that shines light on summary numbers to take away guess work.

Dig deeper into reports and visualizations to learn more about data.

VERSIONING

You can continue to develop, maintain or improve applications while they are being used. Testers can be given access to the new version of an application (say a small group of current users) while other users continue uninterrupted.

Improvements can be “published” to take effect at a specific transition time (i.e., midnight). Improvements can be released in total or as a subset, as needed. For example, assume a change in business practice requires an immediate change to your application while you are prototyping other enhancements. You can create, test and release the required change while leaving your current prototype active with testers.

Who made which change to your application is automatically audited.

Erase mistakes by managing change.

REPORTS & VISUALIZATIONS

It’s easy to build a Leap app that supports C-suite decision-making complete with comparative graphic data visualizations and summary reports. Leap can build real-time dashboards that support decisions for rank and file individual contributors to board members. Information flowing from other systems via No-code Connect or data being created in your Leap-built app can be observed in a real-time dashboard.

Leap empowers users to answer more questions supported by better data. On-demand, real-time and secure reports can be generated showing the actual data or graphic summaries. Both can be defined, but Leap will automatically generate reports showing supporting data with a single mouse click.

Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations

in seconds.

DATA PROVENANCE

Leadership's risk doesn't stop at just making decisions on partial data. What about the data reliability, completeness and quality? Leaders want to know “how solid is this data?” 84% of CEOs say that they do not trust the data on which they are making decisions. Leap not only audits how data moves and changes, the platform also "audits the audits". Access to knowing data competence is always a mouse click away. The source of data and how that data was handled is a direct indicator of reliability.

Data reliability varies based on the source and conditions when collected. For example, data coming from understaffed teams or facilities may not be as thorough as data coming from others. Data may be coming from other systems with limited management, less skilled users, or lax collection filters. The kind of business tools used to collect, process, and transport data can help perfect that data or add error at an alarming frequency. For example, knowing that cost numbers are coming from spreadsheets shared between users and departments might lose some comfort on the accuracy. People also have an enormous effect on the competence of data. Knowing the people, organizations, and kinds of business tools that collected, processed, assembled and reported the data is a direct measure of that data's reliability.

Gain better insights by knowing the origin of your data.

FORM BUILDER

Leap data collection forms make it easy to collect data and reduce errors in the process. No more cutting and pasting into a spreadsheet and having it go into the wrong cell. Collect data the smart way and gain a greater level of consistency with your data. With Leap you can create custom forms to suit your needs within seconds.
